Field tests!

👷‍♂️ In January 2022, partner ROBOPLANET travelled to Portugal to do some testing with partner Arsenal do Alfeite, S.A. (AASA).

The goal was to evaluate the new UT_Crawler for ship inspection. External ship hull inspection are requested by class societies to allow ships to take the sea.

⚓During the week, AASA organised a visit of the port and tests on structural elements. Under the supervision of the shipyard NDT team including UT level 3, the ALTISCAN_V2 performed good results. The crawler will receive its on-purpose adaptation then be delivered for an operational evaluation.
